Kenneth was the most friendly person I ever knew. He would always speak to you no matter what kind of day you were having, with that big smile of his. Kenneth also had a big heart to go along with that smile.
Kenneth, wished you were here with us to celebrate, but please do watch over us as we remember all the things we did to get attention and have fun.

Always a friend,
Jackie Boyd Bendrick

I think I speak for almost every girl in the class of 1969 by saying that Kenneth was the most handsome guy at FCHS. Those dark blue eyes and long eyelashes captivated us girls. I had several classes with Kenneth throughout high school, but the most memorable event happened in Art Class.. I should say events because Art Class was always disrupted by someone, usually Kenneth and Melvin Whitlock. One day when Miss Vaughn was out of the classroom, Kenneth and Melvin locked me in the closet. I don't remember any details other than they got in trouble when Miss Vaughn learned what they had done. Little did our class know that Kenneth was in love with the Art teacher and later married Miss Vaughn. Many years later, Kenneth dug a well for my family and we had a grand time talking about high school days. Kenneth provided a tremendous service by his excellent well drilling work.

Dorma is right about those gorgeous eyes! Kenneth was always so striking and so much fun anywhere we saw him. How well I remember sitting in study hall with Sharon Wood and Kenneth while we studied for Mr. Harmon's Government Exam, and then we all sat in the cafeteria to take that multiple item test! Was that reallly 40 years ago! I am sad that we have lost so many friends!
