Melvin was a very caring man. I enjoyed going to school with him from elementary thru high school. Several years after high school, my husband and I worked with an auctioneering company and Melvin always liked to attend auctions in the community. It was always good to see Melvin and catch up with what was going on in his life.

I knew Melvin from first grade on. Our families lived close in Check. What a genuinely good person. He worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the members of his church always giving of his time and talents. He is missed.
